HOW TO FIND US

FROM TIC

From Newton Stewart take A714 towards Wigtown, bypass Wigtown, go through Braehead & Kirkinner, taking the A746 for Whithorn. Continue beyond Sorbie. Approximately ½ mile from outskirts of Whithorn is a brown Tourist Board Sign for Whithorn Priory. 100 yards past this sign turn left into a single track tarmac road. Chapel Outon Farmhouse is ¾ mile on left. Newton Stewart – Whithorn - 18 miles.

BY RAIL

Leave Dumfries on A75 in a westerly direction towards Stranraer. At Newton Stewart take A714 towards Wigtown, bypass Wigtown, go through Braehead & Kirkinner, taking the A746 for Whithorn. Continue beyond Sorbie. Approximately ½ mile from outskirts of Whithorn is a brown Tourist Board Sign for Whithorn Priory. 100 yards past this sign turn left into a single track tarmac road. Chapel Outon Farmhouse is ¾ mile on left. Dumfries – Whithorn – 62 miles.

BY FERRY

Leave Stranraer on A75 in an easterly direction towards Dumfries. At Glenluce take A747 to Port William. At roundabout take first exit onto B7085. After 1.5 miles turn sharp right onto B7021. At the end of the road turn left (away from Whithorn). After about ½ a mile turn right onto single track tarmac road. Chapel Outon Farmhouse is ¾ mile on left. Stranraer – Whithorn – 32 miles.
